Last Wednesday evening I was catching up on the day's big news… the earthquake along the North American East coast when a second tremor hit.  The news of Steve Jobs stepping down from his role as Apple CEO was a shocker. This second major tremor of the day and its aftershocks had an immediate impact in social media circles; the twittersphere, online news articles, forums and the blogosphere.
